Early one Sunday morning last month at Carfarthfa Park, Merthyr Tydfil.
A little mist was just he thing to separate the tree covered island from the background.
A 5 minute-long exposure with the help of a "Lee Filters Big Stopper" flattened the water to further simplify the image. With not so much as a breeze the leaves & smaller branches remained unaffected and pin sharp!
The colours were very muted in the mist, so the image was simplified further still, by a monochrome conversion.
Canon 6D Mk2 | 24-105mm lens at 35mm | Æ-8 | 300 sec | ISO 100 | Tripod | Lee Filters Big Stopper
