Great use of fisheye, leading lines, and B&W shading. A favorite in my 3D challenge.

Behind The Lens

Location
This shot was taken down at St.Kilda in Melbourne in front of Luna Park.
Time
This was mid morning around 9am.
Lighting
Natural morning light, the sun in Melbourne rises from over the mountains here and sets over the water, so the light was to my side. Because it was still early the sun was still at an angle.
Equipment
Canon EOS 6D and Sigma 8mm Circular Fisheye Lens. Handheld.
Inspiration
I’ve been experimenting with my fisheye and wide angle landscape shots, I wanted to capture the depth of Luna Park and it’s surroundings, these leading lines really draw me up to the entrance.
Editing
Used Lightroom presets for the black and white, adjusted contrast, clarity and lens correction.
In my camera bag
Canon EOS 6D, 24-105mm, 50mm, 85mm, Sigma 8mm Fisheye, 75-300mm, Extension Tubes, UV & IR Filters, 580ExII Flash, Manfrotto Tripod, Extra Batteries and SD Cards, Iphone Apps.
Feedback
Get out and shoot, be prepared to do some foot work to get the shots you want. I sometimes walk miles around from where I park to explore. Places like St.Kilda have so many little hidden spots which you just need to stop and spot them.
