Location
This photo was taken at Elk Falls Park. It is located just a few minutes drive west of Campbell River. A suspension bridge had been recently installed spanning the canyon downstream from the fall, which made this view possible.Time
This photo was taken around 3:15 pm. Had it been sunny that day, the trees on the left would have been backlit.Lighting
The day was a high overcast. It provided even lighting, with no harsh shadows.Equipment
The photo was taken with a Nikon D7100, equipped with a Nikon 10-24 mm lens. To get this photo, I had to stand at the middle of the suspension bridge, wait until no one else was on it, then hold the camera above the chain-link fencing.Inspiration
It was there.Editing
No processing was done. I usually just shoot jpeg and try to minimize any later adjustments. In my camera bag
Last count was 3 bags and I haven't done an inventory for awhile.Feedback
Keep an eye on the lighting. This photo was possible because the sun wasn't out. It would have been totally different otherwise.
