Location
On a bridge outside of Reine, Norway.Time
This was early morning. During that time there was only 5 hours of sunlight. This was at sunrise which was around 9am.Lighting
I wanted to get actually even more dramatic lighting but the wind and the snow was too much for my tripod to stay still long enough in. So I went back to my car and waited for it to clear up a little bit.Equipment
Sony A7rii. Sony 16-35 2.8 GM.Inspiration
The day before I took this a huge storm swept through the Lofoton Islands. All the roads were closed and the only way to get groceries was walking. As I was walking over a bridge I saw this view and I knew I had to go back to this spot to take photos!Editing
Yes just minor adjusting of highlights, shadows, clarity, a little dehaze in Lightroom. In my camera bag
A7rii, Ronin S, Sony 16-35 2.8, Sony 70-200 2.8, sensor cleaners, lens wipes. Many many SD cards.Feedback
He patient for the right time to open up for a shot. The hardest part for me is waiting for the right moment.. If it’s 3 hours till sunset try to scout out locations until then and go back and take photos at the right time!
