Behind The Lens

Location

This image was taken at a Colour Run organised in Cobram, Victoria, Australia for our grandson to raise funds to get him to America for medical diagnosis and treatment.

Time

This image was taken mid-afternoon. After the Colour Run was complete.

Lighting

All-natural light.

Equipment

The camera was a Sony A9 and it was mounted on a tripod. No other equipment was used.

Inspiration

I was the official photographer for the day and was only too happy to help out as it was all to our grandson.

Editing

Not much processing was required as it was a nice sunny day and all the colours were vibrant anyway. Some cropping was done to help frame the photo nicely.

In my camera bag

All my gear is Sony. I have two bodies, a Sony A9 and Sony A7III. I have three Sony lenses covering 24-600mm range. I also own a Sony 90mm Macro and a Samyang 14mm, as well as a couple of flashes and a Pluto trigger.

Feedback

Make sure you use a fast shutter speed to freeze the action and adjust the aperture and ISO to suit. Also, use burst mode to get a few shots to choose from as you only get one chance.
