About April of 2015, I first got a chance to photograph this lighthouse. Back then, I had the Nikon D800 (I shoot with the Sony A7r3 now) and was still trying to figure out how to use the camera. It was pitch dark, other than the stars and the light from the lighthouse, and I took quite a few photos, only to get back home and find that the lighthouse was out of focus in every single shot. That was truly devestating, as I lived in Texas, at that time, and couldn't just jump in my car and go take re-do photos. Fast forward a few years and my family and I moved back to Washington state and we're glad to be back in the Pacific Northwest. This week I ventured out on the 5 1-2 hour trip to Newport, Oregon, from Kennewick, Washington, to specifically reshoot this spot. Here is the result. Thanks for looking!
