This young roo is one of the wild ones that live over our back fence. We have been feeding and watering them through the drought. This joey was emaciated and finding it difficult to move. We think that she was likely thrown from mum's pouch too soon due to the drought. We have been feeding her extra and supervising her feeds so the others don't get her food. She has slowly gained weight and is getting around a little better. Thankfully she and the rest of the mob seem to have survived yesterday's horrendous 49 Celsius weather!
