Working as an Artist-In-Residence in Big Cypress National Preserve, I love to make use of the dark skies. This night found Florida under a possible frost. I settled in to a hidden spot 12 miles west of Miccosukee and focused on getting the whole picture. 3 different cameras were used to create stills and time lapses. Ultimately, the cold air condensed the moisture and lenses had to be cleared regularly, but it was a pleasant night over all in the Preserve. I heard many owls calling and saw night birds fly over. High res is available, shot on full-frame.
