This is one of my best Lunar Eclipse photos. Settings are: f-6.3, exposure time 0.8 sec., ISO 1000, Focal Length 200mm. Shot with a Canon 5D MKIV which gives me enough pixels to enlarge this somewhat and bring out the white light (stars) which is very dim. This was shot RAW and converted to jpg in post. Camera was on a tripod.
This was a learning experience for me. I hoped I would be able to keep the ISO low...about 200-400, but as the eclipse progressed the available moon light also started to fade away. The reason I shot this at f-6.3 is that I wanted to have depth in the photo and if you could see what I see on my computer screen you can see depth.
