The Flying Foxes or Fruit Bats are out in force in the Cocos Palms making a loud racket feeding on the fruit (Dates).They make a real mess as the eat one and knock down 50 or so ! Their correct name is Grey Headed Flying Fox,and they are a sighted Mega Bat,hence the large eyes.The adults have a wing span of up to ! meter.
