One of the most famous scenes of New York, where the stillness of the water surprised us all. Photo only has 2.5 seconds of exposure and the reflection is real.

Typically this scenario, but when I saw that flash appear, I thought, by the unusual reflection, it could be the original point of the photo. So I moved about 6 meters from where it was and put me to photograph the flash at its best.

Behind The Lens

Location
the great city of New York. after crossing the Brooklyng Bridge
Time
6.00 am aprox. To get here at that time, we had to leave the hotel at 4:30 a.m.
Lighting
look for the flash in the right place
Equipment
Canon 5D Mark IV + 24/70mm f/9.0 + filter 6 stops
Inspiration
I decided to take this picture for the destination and because the boats did not pass, they did not break the reflection.
Editing
I accentuated the contrast to achieve a lot of clarity in the colors.

Feedback
Filters are essential to achieve long exposure. Get up early and be in the place with plenty of time. Try several times until you get a memorable dawn.
