Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken by a nature trail along the Jock river in Ottawa.

Time

It was sunset.

Lighting

Winter sunsets are dramatic. I had to use a gradient filter in post processing.

Equipment

Nikon D8500

Inspiration

Winter landscapes are my favourites. They hide things that I don't want to see! Despite the temperature ( ~ -20C), I stood at this place working on the photo. Nice colours, reflections and the leading lines.

Editing

It was shot in RAW. I used Adobe Camera Raw and Photoshop. In photoshop I like to experiment with the Lab color space.
