A recent shoot with a Nissan Silvia s15 Australian Car and Bikini Model Katherine Lameer.
I have always shied away from car washing bikini shoots as I was never sure how to shoot them in a tasteful way. That was until I came across SnowFoam.
At our location, Leading Edge Detailing, we applied Snowfoam all over the car and Katherine. I proceeded to shoot, using a Canon 5d markii with a 100mm 2.8 lens.
Originally this was shot against a white wall and a lot of sunlight coming in, I knew at the time of shooting I would be manipulating the image to feel darker and more studio like. I took 3 photos with the intention of them being stitched together.
In Lightroom I began adjusting my white balance and darken the backgrounds. Once I was happy there, I moved the three images into CS and stitched them together. The manipulation time on this image would be around 2 hours.
I am really happy with the end result. It turned out exactly what I had in mind, and it was certainly different from other images out there.
Katherine is an amazing model to work with, pushing emotion into every shot!
