The Sand Bridge in Wrocław, which is flung over the southern branch of the Oder, is the initial part of the route leading from the medieval city to the north. It is an element of the oldest Wroclaw crossing through Odra, the northern section of which are Młyńskie bridges. The bridge is relatively narrow, there are two opposite lanes of circular traffic and a two-way tram line on the six-and-a-half-meter roadway. Sidewalks are placed on the outside of the bridge girders.
