Behind The Lens

Location

This was taken in my old studio in Dublin. I had organised a workshop with Lulu as the model and got some time to shoot with her myself.

Time

Early afternoon. Of course, being a studio, it could be day or night :)

Lighting

Shot with my favourite modifier, a 180cm octabox

Equipment

Nikon D750, Nikon 24-70/f2.8

Inspiration

I love shapes and textures. The wooden box with lines and angles and pattern contrasted with the smooth skin and curves of a woman are a common theme in my work

Editing

A B&W conversion in Lightroom

In my camera bag

Nikon D750, 24-70 f2.8 and occasionally an 85mm f1.8D

Feedback

Find some big soft light. Look for textures, lines and curves. And work with a great model of course!
