I took this shot in an open field where there were a bunch of evergreen and deciduous trees near a road and walking path.Time

This was shot on a Canon Rebel T3i camera with an EF-S 18-55 mm lens. I also used a tripod to get this shot.Inspiration
We had about a week of hoar frost and everything was heavily laden with frost. I had to take this opportunity to grab a picture of one of the many pine trees in my area that was covered in this frost. I also thought the shot would look better if it was taken at sunset.Editing
To get this picture, I took a series of three bracketed pictures. I then post-processed them in my photo program where it took all three photos and stacked/merged them together to make this one photo, making it an HDR (High Dynamic Range).In my camera bag

In order to capture a picture that is an HDR, you need to ensure the camera is on a tripod and that there is no wind or movement. You will need to take at least three pictures, one of the correct exposure, one over exposed by 1 stop and one under exposed by 1 stop. You will also need a photo program that can process your three photos into one HDR picture. I use either Photomatix or Affinity Photo. There are other programs that are able to process HDR bracketed photos.
