The London King's Cross Station (often just short King's Cross, also written without apostrophe Kings Cross) is one of the main railway stations in London. The terminus of the East Coast Main Line is in the London Borough of Camden, just off St Pancras Station. King's Cross is named after a monument to King George IV, which no longer exists. In 2011, 26.255 million passengers used the station. The station is the terminus of the railway lines from the northeast of England and the east of Scotland. Here operate trains u. a. to Cambridge, York, Durham, Newcastle and Edinburgh. Below the station is the sprawling subway station King's Cross St. Pancras, where six London Underground lines intersect. St Pancras is one of the main train stations of London. It is located in the borough of London Borough of Camden between the new building of the British Library in the West and the King's Cross Station in the East. Here come the trains of the Eurostar.
