Location
In the center of my town, Fidenza, in the north of Italy.Time
I shot it on a winter afternoon, just before sunsetLighting
it is a very simple light. There are no artificial lights and and we were in the shade, which guarantees a very soft lightEquipment
I took this photo with the samyang 85mm f1.4 at full aperture, it is an excellent manual with a beautiful blur, I then sold it because I wanted a similar autofocus lens, now I have the sony 85mm f1.8 which I have not yet had nice to try cause corona virus ...Inspiration
This photo is part of a set that I took with my wife while I was helping her with a service for work (she is transforming passion into work) so we asked the girl to dress in a simple and uniform style. It is part of a series of simple shots taken around the city.Editing
For this series of shots always made a color adjustment making them more vivid and a little dodge and burn to enhance the natural lights and shadows of the photo. In my camera bag
I have now become a fanboy of the sony mirrorless, in particular for this type of photo you need fixed optics with a fast aperture and you must not be afraid to open the whole diaphragm.Feedback
It is easy to make shots of this type as long as you have a young, pretty girl, good at posing and dressed appropriately for the type of photo we want to take. After that, as I said, it takes a fixed and fast lens and you have to try to make the girl pose in a non-trivial way knowing the rules of composition to use them or violate them when the photo has its own reason anyway.
