Location
This photo was taken in my studio in Ecuador for a customer. He needed a different picture for his cover page.Time
The photo was taken around 5pm. It was the final photo and the client did'n know if to take a floating photo, because he did'n know the concept.Lighting
My style of lighting is from the back / side ... I like the volume in the elements and the contrast. Use a white bounce on the other side to brighten and reduce the shadows a bit without reducing the contrast. I am careful not to use such powerful lights to handle wide openings and blur the background.Equipment
This was shot a nikon D610 and 100mm macro Tokina lens... The light is a neewer 300wt with double diffusion.Inspiration
That is my style... I am recognized by my floating food photos. A different way to make food photography.Editing
Usually in my food photos I give strength to the contrasts of light and shadow, giving a slight blue tone to the shadows. In my camera bag
My bag have my nikon D610, three lenses (50mm, 100mm macro and 17-35) My two flashes neewer TT850 and my laptop. Ahhh many batteries and chargers!Feedback
The key is to imagine things in a different way, more creative and impressive ... then look for different ways to achieve it until you conquer the people who see your photos and... go against the current!
