The first snow of winter had fallen the night before. The combination of snow and fog gave a lovely moody light.Equipment
I took this photo with my little miracle Lumix DMC-TZ-100, an intelligent automatic pocket camera with a nice Leica lens. Easy to carry with you at any moment, it allmost fits in my back pocket.Inspiration
In the Dutch polder you will find many straight rows of trees along the roads. I wanted to find a creative but small perspective to show the plane polder as I know it. Most landscape photos are wide and show as much as possible but I wanted to create a detailed narrow view. I was standing in between the trees, showing only the twigs as a frame for the view at the next row of trees in the fog.Editing

I don't have any equipment in my bag (yet) I am a beginning photographer and I am learning to use a camera, to look for the good light, composition and point of view. One day when I know how to use and set the camera well enough, I will start to think about a bag filled with technical things instead of the need to understand photography first...Feedback
If you look at a subject to photograph, you have to try to realise what you want to achieve, Try to find the good light, the right point of view and the best composition... And most of all, take more shots with slightly different settings so you can choose the best one, once you get home and open your laptop, the magic of today's world begins... I allways crop it later into the size and composition I like best. Crop the photo in different ways, so you can choose the best one the next day when you can have a fresh look at them!
