This photo was taken at a community in Fitzroy Crossing WA, I believe photos should be taken in the moment without filters or computer adjustments. The Kimberly skies offer up some very amazing colours throughout the year. I was fortunate enough to live there for 14 years.Time
This image was taken around 5.30pm Sunsets in the Kimberlies are AMAZING, you can capture colours such as this or complete red sunsets after wet season with the red mirror imaging into the flood watersLighting
Its very important to use a tripod when shooting sunsets and be in AV or MANUAL mode.Equipment
This was shot on a Pentax camera with a tripod, In AV mode, I used a Hoya gradient filter.Inspiration
The AWESOME Kimberly skies, I really love shooting Sunsets and waiting until the sun has gone down the images then are FABULOUS. Pentax cameras are very true to colour that you see with your eyes.Editing
NO I don't believe in post Processing any of my images. If it's not captured in camera then it's not worth keeping. In my camera bag
I have my DSLR, a smaller DSLR as back up, I have a supply of lenses from macro to wide angle. I always take my tripod as well. Hoya gradient and clear filters, cleaning cloth.Feedback
Be patient and the Kimberly skies will please you with images such as this. Good luck.
