A winter sunset over Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada with the turbulent rapids of the Upper Niagara River in the foreground. Another December image along the river's edge at Niagara Falls State Park in New York, with the setting sun illuminating the Canadian side of the falls in it's icy refracted glow.
To balance the tonal values and make sure focus was perfect, I used four images to focus stack and a fifth to get a perfect exposure of the sky. All layers were adjusted in Lightroom and blended in Photoshop before final cleanup and curves adjustments.
