I took this self portrait in my studio a few weeks after my husband was severely burned in an explosion at work. It was traumatic on our whole family and although my husband is physically healing, the emotional and mental healing process is still a ways to go. I felt this image represented how I was feeling at the time. Uncertain of my future, but glad that with time there will be a light at the end of the tunnel. So all my family's wounds will heal.
