Not just an impressive 'doorstop' - the original was handcrafted in Africa and deemed far too valuable to be 'sold on' to Europeans - so the tribesmen whipped up a quick replica in softwood, & burnished it with teak oil and animal fats. Indistinguishable from the much venerated original!! [weighs a lot less too, so travelled as 'hand luggage' when brought back to GB!!]. Still scares the 'bejasus' out of unwitting visitors!!
