Behind The Lens

Location

Sunset Cliffs near San Diego California. So named for the famous views of the sunsets, and where people line the streets every evening to watch them.

Time

I don't remember the exact time but it was early morning.

Lighting

Blue sky, white water, brown rocks. I needed enough light to shoot with a fast shutter speed to freeze the breaker.

Equipment

Handheld with the Panasonic G85 and the Olympus 8mm F2.8 fisheye.

Inspiration

It's the ocean, it's powerful, it's beautiful.

Editing

I had to correct the lens distortion, some dodge and burn and cropped to taste.

In my camera bag

The bag has smaller camera bodies for ease of travel and prime lenses. Right now it's Sony A6xxx series bodies and sigma prime lenses.

Feedback

Shoot high frame rates on the break, it's always morphing.
