Behind The Lens

Location

This was shot at a supper club here in town, called Smiley's. Being that I am self-taught, this really opened up a chance to try new methods

Time

Evening. The sunset really made for some wild color, tone variance

Lighting

Again, it being evening, the color/tone variance made for, what would become, a great shot

Equipment

Canon PowerShot A1100 IS, and the little tripod that came with the camera... No flash

Inspiration

This was, more or less, a spur-of-the-moment deal, but then again, almost all of my past shots have been that way

Editing

HDR processing in Photomatix, touch-up in Adobe Photoshop

In my camera bag

It varies. Lately, though, I have been opting to take my Canon EOS Rebel T7 with me

Feedback

Patience is key. Don't be afraid to make mistakes (you WILL learn by trying new methods)
