A tree in Romare Bearden Park lit up for the holidays. The Charlotte skyline is out of focus, but the image still allows the Bank of America tower to be recognizable. The deep blue skies and purple toned clouds give reference to the time in which the image was shot. It was in the evening after the sun has set. I was in the park for a Christmas Market. As I was walking around the park, the tree lights caught my attention and I realized then would be a beautiful shot. I uploaded the image to Instagram right away, and before then end of the night, the image was shared by Explore Charlotte.
