Behind The Lens

Location

I took This photo in a beautiful Island called Sardinia. It is placed in Italy, in the Mediterranean Sea. This photo represent the Westermost point of Sardinia .

Time

It was a cloudy day. I walked some Miles to reach this place before the sunset. I took This photo in autumn at 5:00 Pm .

Lighting

The light was soft but it was a grey day and it changed some colors. I tried to improve the dynamic range of colors by using a longer exposure time and lowest ISO

Equipment

I used My Nikon with a tripod and a 8mm lens to take the nearest details of the rocks.

Inspiration

I was inspiring by the nature and her unusuals shapes of Rocks and by the suggestives colors of This place.

Editing

Yes i did! I just Balanced the White and adjusted the exposition of the sky

In my camera bag

In my travels i usually take with me the camera, some lenses and a tripod. Oh yes, and a bottle of water!!

Feedback

In my opinion the most important thing with a 8mm lens to capture a landscape is to focus on the foreground. You have to look for some unusuals and strange details to fill the compositon.
