Location
This picture was taken during a morning hike through Monument Valley.Time
We left on the hike Just after sunrise so that the heat would be bareable. The sun was rising quickly but there was still some mist leftLighting
As the sun was already pretty high, the lightning was pretty harsh. Luckily the leftover mist from sunrise helped separate the dead tree from the mountains in the back. The result was pretty contrasty but this worked in my favourEquipment
This was a handheld shot with my Canon Eos 760d and my 75-300 USM telephoto lens. Taken at 150mm, 1/250 sec, f/5,6 and ISO 100Inspiration
I always look for a unique perspective in the, often very touristic, places I visit. In the dry and barren landscape of Monument Valley it is hard too look for something interresting besides the massieve rock formations. Ik spotted this dead tree when I rook a different photo and saw the potential it had.Editing
I processed the picture in Adobe Lightroom. In my camera bag
I always have my Canon Eos 760d, my Canon 17-55 2.8 zoom lens, a 75-300 telephoto lens, my tripod and some filtersFeedback
