Thank you Daisy ! I spent 3 wonderful days there in 1966.So different and interesting at every turn.There was a wedding march and a jazz funeral along with the Chinese people,shops.Opium dens down alleyways !For a 21 year old Aussie country boy mind blowing.(:-D>,,,

Wow...1966 was a year before “The Summer of Love”! The hippie movement began in the 1960s - The Summer of Love was a social phenomenon that occurred during the summer of 1967, when as many as 100,000 people, mostly young people sporting hippie fashion of dress and behavior, converged in San Francisco’s neighborhood of Haight-Ashbury. There’re a few places that still breathe the hippie culture in the past. Haughty-Ashbury neighborhood is always my favorite! Thanks so much Brian kindly, I’m so glad you liked it:))
