Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken at a park nearby to where I live. My idea was to showcase the car in a nice calm area featuring the stunning models

Time

Like so many photos, this was taken late in the afternoon to get the lovely golden light and long shadows.

Lighting

Being shot from above, no fill lighting was required as the sun was filling in all the shadows.

Equipment

My first photo shoot using a drone. I used a DJI Spark and learnt how limited the processing is there when it comes to blown highlights. Amazing how spoiled we are with raw files.

Inspiration

I knew I wanted something from above using my drone. With such a beautiful car, lying the models on the bonnet was the obvious choice.

Editing

Just a bit of colour grading and skin smoothing.

In my camera bag

I usually shoot with my Nikon D3 and a prime (50mm, 85mm, 105mm), so this one is totally outside of that.
