Behind The Lens

Location

This Photo was taken way back in year 2011 on the Kihim Beach, Alibaug, India. I am a sunset person and a self taught photographer.

Time

I was sitting with my 4 months old son on the beach watching the sunset when suddenly this boy passed thru with his passenger on the Tonga and was captured. This photo is one of my favourite.

Lighting

Well the sunlight at sunset was magical enough

Equipment

This was shot on a Sony DSC-W220 camera, ISO 32000, f stop at 5 and shutter at 1/14

Inspiration

As i said i love sunsets and this photo is close to my heart as a small kid was taking his passengers on this Tonga for this livelihood. While we all were sitting and enjoying the sun going down, he was busy earning a living for himself and probably for his family too.

Editing

Just the normal processing to adjust white balance and constrast.

In my camera bag

Nothing at all at that time. I didn't have much knowledge or money to buy equipment.

Feedback

Well, the art of composition comes from inside. it cant be taught. That;s what i believe. Photography is all about being in the right place at the right time and have an eye to frame it!
