Behind The Lens

Location

This was taken at Santee lakes, fifteen minutes east of downtown San Diego.

Time

Mid morning, it was still slightly overcast.

Lighting

Natural light.

Equipment

Shot with a Sigma Quattro sd and the 18-35 F1.8 lens at F11

Inspiration

Love infrared, that was my inspiration.

Editing

Converted in Sigma Pro, their proprietary software. Basic tone, contrast, and crop to taste.

In my camera bag

There is always an infrared converted camera in my bag. Right now, it is a Panasonic G95 full spectrum conversion. Lenses range from 12mm to 200mm.

Feedback

It is finding the right conditions and being able to think in black and white and what the infrared sensor will record. There is a lot of hit and miss.
