St. Vitus Cathedral, Prague, Czech RepublicTime
Late afternoon during our last tour of the day.Lighting
This photo was taken with the natural lighting coming through the windows of the Cathedral.Equipment
Nikon D850Inspiration
It was the end of a long day shooting the people on our tour. The cathedral was beautiful, but there was a lot of construction being done so you couldn't walk through the cathedral. Everyone was crammed into the entrance area. I made my way to an opening in the front of the crowd to shoot the front of the cathedral. When I had the shots I wanted I headed back out of the cathedral for air. I noticed this young lady quietly contemplating while resting on the pillar. I snapped off a quick shot.Editing
No.In my camera bag
When I'm photographing while traveling with a tour group I usually carry my Nikons. My 850 with a 24mm to 120mm lens for overall range coverage. Also, my 750 with a 50mm for my Kodak moments. I have a separate flash for my 850. If it is a landscape location area I'll also bring my 300mm. Also, the usual, cleaning gear, cards, batteries, tripod, wide angle zoom and fixed. Also, I have my phone for major inclement weather, when I just need to get the shot.Feedback
It's funny because I didn't plan on taking this shot until I LOOKED at her. I saw her standing there but took the time to look at her, then fired off the shot. People are always commenting about my cameras while I'm photographing them on tour and ask how they can take god pictures.I tell them, "You see everything you look at, but you have to look at everything you see", to get a good shot.
