"Both, first Eve and then Adam would have eaten the forbidden fruit of the tree of knowledge, the "knowledge of good and evil."

This photograph is one of those I produced to evoke wine, the knowledge, the passions and their secrets. The attraction for the nectar of the gods comes from the ancestors from which we also drink from our classical culture. We have all heard of Dionysus, or Bacchus to the Romans, who in his history revealed the secret of wine-making to mortal humans.
And because in the Bible there is no reference to the apple as being the fruit of that tree, I prefer to call it not forbidden but rather to imagine it as the "desired fruit." A grape, gleaming, juicy and ripe.
From the fruit so desired, desired and intoxicating, was born a series of photographs with the title of "Eva".
