Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken inside one of the local shops in my town. It was one from a set that was taken

Time

It was taken at midday. Around 2pm I believe. It was taken indoors.

Lighting

For this shot, it was just a single light. Maybe 45° above the model.

Equipment

It was shot on a Nikon D700 with a 50mm 1.8. I shot it at F2. I also used a Meike 910 speedlight inside a 60cm double defused softbox, and Yongnuo triggers.

Inspiration

It was from a photo I seen while scrolling through Instagram. I was one that stood out to me and, I wanted to try recreate something similar

Editing

Yes, my post processing was done in Lightroom. Some basic adjustments, colour correction and and gave it a slight vintage vibe.

In my camera bag

Currently I have my Nikon D800. Sigma 70-200 2.8 Nikon 50 1.8 Nikon 35 1.8 Nikon 24-85 3.5-4.5 vr Rode mic go plus some accessories

Feedback

Play with you lighting. Use different angles and have your model do different expressions, And just have fun shooting.
