This photo is one of the very first nude series I shot in Belgium, years ago, when I was a photography student. I remember I had to find a model for this special school exercise and I was quite shy to ask any female school mate for help. One of them eventually dared to say "yes" et we used an empty apartment in Charleroi as a studio, where I had the full day to explore what would become late a new passion: nude photography!Time
The model & I reached Charleroi at 9 am (1hr away from Brussels) and started shooting an hour later after make-up and setting up the lights. We shot until 5 pm.Lighting
I wanted to explore my model's body shapes, so I remember I used strong lighting.Equipment
If I remember, I was using a T90 Canon DSLR at that time, and some studio lighting that I brought from the school.Inspiration
I wanted to do a research on shapes and tones, and I definitely wanted to try shooting in B&W. I wanted to take fine nude photos and wasn't interested in sexiness or eroticism...Editing

Nowadays, I use to carry a bag with 2 Canon DSLR (5D MkIII) and 3 lenses, especially my favorite 70-200 mm lens, which is perfect for nude photography.Feedback
