I paused this scene on television. I think it was a series set in old Whitechapel. I take no credit for this (lighting, photography, etc) but I'm grateful that I was able to recognise so much worth looking at in a fleeting moment of film. The dynamic black and white composition. The enduring solidity of the architecture juxtaposed with the fleeting presence of the figure in flight. The textures and lighting. Perhaps I'll work with this captured moment in my art later.
