Behind The Lens

Location
This photo was taken on my kitchen table, after baking and creating the shapes for the cookies in chocolate, I love to showcase my work, through photography.
Time
The light from the kitchen windows are perfect around mid-morning, I love using natural light.
Lighting
The lighting helps create the sense that you can just grab the cookie and take a bite.
Equipment
I love my Nikon D600, as I’m still learning, it makes photography effortless for me, all I need is the camera.
Inspiration
I am a baker and love that I am able to use photography to also create an image that tells the story without too many words. I’m inspired when photography speaks to you.
Editing
I tend to allow the natural light to enhance the photo, so I don’t need to post-process and allow the image to be at its nature state.
In my camera bag
I always have my extra lens for photographing wildlife, at the moment I use my Nikon D600.
Feedback
I always ensure that there is enough natural light and have a balance with colour.
