Location
This was taken using an old mobile phone whilst trecking on the Isle of Mull, Scotland. It was an overcast broody day and as usual in Scotland we experienced all four seasons over the few hours that we walked.Time
I can't recall the exact time taken but we had been walking for a few hours. I was just taken by the natural light at the time do pushed the phone camera as much as I could.Lighting
In Scotland the natural light changes constantly due to the changing weather systems. Often getting everything from sideways sleet to bright sunshine within the hour.Equipment
This was a phone shot. An old Samsung. Hand held.Inspiration
I was just completely taken by the natural light. I had to stop for a few moments just to take in the scene.Editing
I usually import all phone and camera images onto my computer via lightroom. Not much done to this though. The natural light was as it looksIn my camera bag
I usually carry a Nikon D7000 Nikor 50mm f2.4 Nikor 16-200 Nikon SB 910 flashFeedback
Scotland is a fickle place when it cones to natural light. You can get 4 seasons in a day. I usually take several shots of the same view with different exposures. In this case though it was just a point and shoot with an old phone. To be honest the photograph doesn't do the reality justice.
