To take this shot I went up 100mt in the Euromast tower in Rotterdam. The photo is taken at the blue hour. It was a very calm and serene evening without wind and there were beautiful clouds in the sky. On the horizon you can see a setting sun. I was there in the afterrnoon and I waited the right moment and the right light. It was since a lot of time that I was waiting to be able to find a place which could allow me to see almost the whole city.
