I almost make the model look younger through the glass. Nice concept.

Behind The Lens

Location

This photo is taken in my photostudio. A part of a family portrait session.

Time

The photoshoot took place in the evening in the photostudio. So time was not an important issue.

Lighting

I've used two lights. The mainlight was a soft box at the rightside. This soft box was turned to my direction. The second light was on the left side at the backside of the model. To have a difference between the hair and the background.

Equipment

Camera: Nikon D750 + Nikkor 85mm + 1 soft box + 1 spotlight with grid as a hair light.

Inspiration

People with glasses, are very interesting to take pictures off. Because glasses are a nice prop. Some glasses can give a strange effect without using any post-processing. You can frame the face in the glasses and the other parts of the face around the glasses wil be blurry.

Editing

The only post-processing was to edit the image to black/white.

In my camera bag

Camera: Nikon D750 + Nikkor 85mm + Nikkor 17-24mm + Nikkor 24-70mm + Nikkor 70-200mm, Flash Nikon SB900 + SB800, radio transmitter,

Feedback

Try to make different shots of people with glasses. Glasses are a nice prop who can distract the model.
