Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo at home. Me and my wife recently shifted to the new apartment. So we are discovering new places to shoot at home.

Time

We have just a couple of minutes in the morning. Because my wife needs some time to prepare herself before going to work. This is a moment - "Now or Newer"

Lighting

Soft side lighting is making a beautiful work across model body. I wanted this photo to be more siluetic.

Equipment

As usual I gave used my Nikon D810 and Sigma 35 F1, 4 art lens. No additional light or modifier this time. Only window light

Inspiration

I'm in love with boudoir photography. I love to shot women and show the beautiness of their shape and body. So I'm inspiring by checking of some works from other boudoir photographers.

Editing

Nothing special is about post production of this image. Classic raw convertation in lightroom, some cleaning in Photoshop, a little liquify, converting to Black and white

In my camera bag

I love to shot on my Nikon D810. But this is quite heavy gear to travel with. Carrying some heavy lenses as Tamron 70-200, and 2 Sigmas 24 and 35 mm. You really should to think how much gear do you need for the shoot.

Feedback

For this type of image you need a really ripped model and side lighting to get the beautiful siluet shot. Work on posing. Try black and white to get maximum light painting effect and avoid disturbing colors of your image
