The badlands of North Dakota is named that for good reason. As beautiful as it may be, it is full of parallel. From the rugged harsh landscape made of sharp jagged rock formation to the wildlife that resides within. However, with the last and final oil boom of our time; we now have the worries of what one oil disaster could do to the land and wildlife. In order to collect the oil here, they have to use the fracking method. They say the oil is replace with salt water solution, however, in my opinion, I still think that it is a disaster waiting to happen, and when the ground crumbles around us, the state government will only have themselves to blame.
