Location
I took the picture just opposite my house in Zaria, Kaduna state north central Nigeria.Time
At about 9am in the morning.Lighting
It was a bright morning and I was struggling to avoid the sun getting into the lens and had to stand close to the pillar on my left as a kind of lens hood, but I couldn't get a second shot as the children left almost immediately.Equipment
It is Nikon D3100, a kit lens 18 to 55mm. No tripod, no flash just natural light.Inspiration
The pose of the girl carrying her younger brother baring the weight without being bothered trying to put him on her back. She just continued to stand with his brother, a hip-full stance she struck fascinated me.Editing
No.In my camera bag
Just the camera, alkaline batteries for my speed light.Feedback
A second camera and a 200mm lens will help to get a closeup shot.
