Location
the photo was taken in Loft in CDMX, México. I rented the place because I liked the diversity of materials and structures.Time
Was taken to 2 or 2:30pm i chose that Hour because the natural light enter full by all the windows, and because is far from my studio don´t wore lights or any light equip, just avalible light in the place.Lighting
i want use just natural light (for not carrie the my lights or speedlight) and the place have a lot of windows to take good pictures with aditional light.Equipment
My old and Loyal Canon 5D Mark II (in fact was his penultimate session) and the 50mm 1.4 Canon Lenses, and no more.Inspiration
The model in the photo is called Giselle, honestly it was the first time we worked together, in fact I hired her exclusively for that loft shoot. She did not have much experience, at first she felt a little cold and strange since she had never directed her. after instructions and a couple of photos she felt relaxed and confident, it started to flow, that photo was part of a sequence on the stairs where she felt more secure, comfortable and happy with the session, when was a taked this picture.Editing
yes i just made a a little dodge and burn a gneral dodge and burn, CC with curves and color Balace in Photoshop, but first i made devolpment proces in light room adjusting the White balance, shadows and highlights, without presets or pluginsIn my camera bag
I always carry my main Body is Canon 5DS a second Body was Canon 5D Mark II, and four this kind of shoots a 50mm 1.4 and 85mm 1.8 lens by canon, a theta 360 (for BTS), an Ipad for check my thethering and model release, Xsories Weye efe radio, a ND and PV filters, cleaning lense kit, a pasport X-rite color chequer and just thatFeedback
first talk with the model about that you want in the shoot and hear to she about all the questions that she have, once you have commented the session with her it is only a matter of rhythm and flow to achieve good photographs.
