In my little apartment living room!Time
Around noon.Lighting
This was a natural light shoot. I had a sheer curtain hanging in front of the window to help soften the light.Equipment

I had just moved into this new apartment and wanted to do a test shoot to see what the natural light would look like. Turned out the be the PERFECT natural light set up!Editing
In Photoshop I used fixed blemishes, frequency separation, curves to enhance contrast, and applied some texture layers to the background. Also her eyes are really that color... I didn't need to do much to make them pop.In my camera bag

The best thing about doing a shoot with natural light is that you can move your model around quickly to get your desired look. For this shot my model was standing about 6ft away from the window facing me. I had a little fan blowing to the left of her to get movement in her hair. I was also pretty lazy that day and didn't feel like dragging up my backdrop 3 flights of stairs... so I grabbed a fluffy grey comforter and hung it on my backdrop stand.
