This is a lovely old Jaguar i spotted in a paddock in my local travels.
Jags are one of my absolute favourite cars.
I had one like this many years ago and it was already old then. It was a 1968 3.8S. This modal was one of the last ones to be hand made. Mine was the same colour. It was wonderful to drive and i can still remember how good it felt and how good it sounded. I just loved the twin tanks as well. The only reason i sold it was because i moved to NZ to lived when i got married, but we only ended up staying there for about five months before returning to Australia and i never saw the car again.Wouldn't it be ironic if it was the one I had all those years ago.
Within the next few years we ended up buying a Mk1 and a Mk11 Jag, that we fixed up and got them going again. Needless to say, sadly they were also sold down the track due to tough times. :--
