The girl ain't lost though. I met the young and fresh Louise not long ago. We just wanted to learn to know each other a bit before we build propped photography projects. The thing is that we kinda actually met with each other that time. Many things to come. Beautiful Louise.

Location
This photo was shot on an abandonned speedway, here, in Belgium. The A601 used to link two big axis in southern Belgium, but it was closed adout 10 years ago for "savings" (but this is not the point of this BTS) It is a 8km stretch of road with plenty of wild grasses and f***ed up installations. The place's got colonized by wildlife again, people come ther to walk, do roller, chill, and... take nice pictures...Time
It was the end of the day, just minutes before dusk. The light went away pretty quickly, but we had time to take a few shots.Lighting
THis lightning is one of my favorites. Either dawn, or dusk, but I love this fragile light, this moment where it almost vannishes and create subtle contrasts. Not pushing the setting too far, just letting the light delicately apply onto the sensor.Equipment
Canon 550D, a 70-200 f2.8 Sigma lens and that's it.Inspiration
THis is the first shot Louise and I did together. Since it was pretty much a tryout and a good way to know each other, I thought of this location as something new for both of us. I knew the location, had seen a few pics from other photographs, but none with that late day atmosphere, which brings a bit of fragility to the moment and adds strength to Louise's attitude. Both the look in her eyes and her body language is reinforced by the lighting and the sourroundings.Editing
As usually, I just reinforce the highlight and the darks a bit, I add a little more micro-contrast, and that's pretty much it.In my camera bag
In my bag, I usually have a Canon 5D Mk2 and a Canon 550D, a sigma 70-200mm f2.8, a canon 16-35mm f2.8L Mk2 (+ a Canon 50mm f1.8 that I barely use)Feedback
Take your time, work with natural light, don't be afrait to be too late for the sun set or too early for the sunrise. The lights loves when you have to be delicate with it.
