After about half a dozen trips to the Marshes over a two year period I was very happy to capture and frame my first ever 'Beardie'. I have previously visited 3 other known venues without any success so you can imagine the joy I had of capturing this stunning bird. This was shot quite early in the morning and despite the evident wind, 3 male birds made a brief appearance which I was fortunate enough to be in the right place at the right time....Happy Days!
